- Codes Present: P0148 – Fuel Delivery Error P0191 – Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance P0330 – Knock Sensor Circuit 2 Malfunction P1233 – Fuel Pump Driver Module Offline Checked the fuel filter for flow. Installed an inline pressure gauge. Found that KOEO fuel pressure to be in spec. KOER – fuel pressure dropped to 20psi on start up. It struggles to get higher that 30psi and then settles in at 32 psi. It goes to 35psi under full load. Live data shows fuel rail pressure at 39psi, which doesn't correlate with our mechanical pressure check. Fuel pressure is also on the low end of the scale for KOER. We suspect an issue with the fuel pump control module, which determines what voltage to send to the fuel pump to vary fuel pressure. Unit is severely corroded and damaged. We suggest starting here. Fuel pressure on the low end of acceptable, so there always is the possibility that the truck could use a fuel pump too.
