    • P0451 – Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Performance – Fuel tank pressure sensor is located in the top of the fuel tank. Testing looks like it would necessitate dropping the tank to access the electrical connector. Looking at the sensor on live data, it is within range at the key on engine off test. Other sources for throwing this code are the EVAP Vent valve or the fuel cap. Fuel cap is original and the seal is not in good shape. For now, we cleared the code and replaced the cap. If the light stays off, that great. If it comes back on, we can test or just replace the fuel tank pressure sensor and test the EVAP vent valve. The goal was to spend as little as possible upfront, before diving in deeper.
