- Drain engine oil. Refill engine oil based on manufacturer's capacity recommendations. Re-check engine oil level.
- Remove engine oil filter. Replace with new filter.
- Check tire and brake pad wear. Check for non-working bulbs. Visually inspect engine and components. Check engine fluid levels and quality. Visually inspect undercarriage, exhaust, and suspension components. Inflate tires to manufacturer's specifications and perform a battery load test.
- Remove windshield wiper cowling and passenger side of hood and remove large decomposing rat from tray. Vacuum up and clean up remaining parts and residue. Spray a case of brake cleaner in the tray to remove relatively inaccessible decomposed body. Spray vent freshener in the vents
