Put the vehicle on the lift and checked wheel bearings, tie rods, control arms etc. Listened with a stethoscope to the wheel bearings ft and rear, differentials, transfer case, transmission, etc. Pulled the wheels and checked inner and outer brake pads. Rotated the tires and did not note any change. Tires are 5 years old. We believe the howl is coming from the tires and would recommend replacing them.

2017 Chrysler Pacifica
Mileage89,586Service Date9/22/2025Services Performed- Codes Stored: P0300 – Random Misfire P105D – Intake Valve Stuck in High Lift Position Test drove the vehicle and confirmed on live data, misfires on Cylinder's #4 and #6. These are linked together on the same Variable Valve Lift Solenoid. Attempted to follow the factory Solenoid testing procedures using our scan tool. For whatever reason the testing would initiate but not present properly. We then removed the intake and the throttle body and ran a resistance test on both Bank 1 and Bank 2 Solenoids. Both showed the same resistance. We removed both, so re could swap them. This would give us more testing information, if the misfires jumped cylinders and the original #4,6 Solenoid would be accessible without removing the air boot, air box and throttle body again. We did find that the pick up screen for #4 and #6 looked clogged. We cleaned out both pick up screens and reassembled. THrough multiple test drives, we could not get the vehicle to fail again. If it does fail again, we will be able to gather important information from that. Please bring it back if we have further issues. We did drive the vehicle 29 miles and multiple key cycles without issue.
